I believe those who desire it should have an opportunity to receive an affordable, quality education. I specifically believe we do enough to encourage our high schoolers that community college is not a matter of settling because they couldn't afford anything better. It should be viewed as a means to an end. Why start your educational journey and eventually your career strapped with debt. General studies courses are the same wherever you take them. I will do everything in my power to make sure District 510 does its part in crafting the minds of the next generation and beyond.
